Вот уж задание так задание - сделать проект без морской коллекции на морскую тему) Ох, это не просто! Но нет ничего невозможного!) По требованиям задания я решила сделать маленький альтер-блокнот.
Hi everybody (:
I was on a mission! Make a pretty sea themed project without using a sea themed collection - uuh, not that easy! But not impossible either. Challenge accepted I thought and decided to alter a little notebook.
First step - choosing the paper. I found a blue stripy one from the Blue&Blush collection and a greenish turquoise one from the summer collection.
Next I covered the top cover of the notebook with the blue paper and die cut some sea related forms from both sheets. The little seahorse is actually cut from the green paper from the Summer collection as well - who would have thought! It got treated with some crackle paint and ink which gave it it's antique look.
After arranging all those pieces on the cover I chose to give it an extra touch with some mixed media techniques and some fabric pieces.
Done! Wow, that really wasn't difficult, thanks to the really versatile ScrapMir collections! Plus - I had a ton of fun while getting creative!
